Produced by the City of Stockton, this event celebrates ART in its diverse forms during Stockton Arts Week. The goal of the festival is to spark collaboration and inspire new combinations of cultural and artistic traditions.
This is a FREE COMMUNITY EVENT so don't miss out on this one-of-a-kind festival.

Artists: Alicia Van de Bor (Button Making) In this workshop participants will be able to choose an image from a book or magazine, or draw their own to create a one-of-a-kind button. The personalized buttons can be used to decorate book bags, purses, and attire.
Dayanna Knight (Watercoloring) This workshop is designed to utilize the art of informed coloring book illustration as a gateway to further curiosity and inquiry about Stockton’s past. It also allows less confident artists to participate in a group art activity. Line work scenes showing interesting buildings around Stockton are provided as are watercolor pencils and wet paint brushes.
E. Michael Pearl (Wire Face Making) Come learn how to manipulate wire into creating a spectacular piece of art. E. Michael Pearl is an amazing artist with a unique craft for wire art. Watch as he creates three dimensional faces and learn how to make your own.
Joy Neas (Star Lanterns), Come learn the cultural traditions of the Philippines. Decorate a bamboo star frame by gluing cellophane, ribbon, stickers, garland and assorted decorations and wiring on tissue paper tails.
Maria Valdovinos (Folkloric Dance) Folkloric dance is a traditional Latin American dance that emphasize local folk culture with ballet characteristics such as pointed toes, exaggerated movements and highly choreographed arrangements. Maria Valdovino will be teaching you these beautiful dance moves that are so rich in culture and community.
Carlos Casillas, Carlos Marquez, Daniel Villa, Danielle Lamb, Emily Criss, Fay Dumont, Garrett Daniells, Paula Sheil (The Write Place ( link )), Sara Lankutis, Jill Lipka, Tama Brisbane (Stockton's Poet Laureate), With Our Words, Art Expressions of San Joaquin ( link ), The Mexican Heritage Center ( link ), Marlene Arceo, UOP-Media X and more!
